Maria and I have set some goals and I thought I would share them with the world because that is the thing to do these days. There are several so buckle down and hold on tight.
1) Sugar Free – Maria and I were sugar free for a year after a challenge that was extended to us from Maria’s Parents about two years ago. We were each paid our $500 and have gone back on sugar and have also found all the weight that we had lost. We have decided to once again adopt the sugar free life-style for a year.
2) 100 Pounds – In staying off sugar for a year I lost about 36 pounds with out changing any other habits in my life. Maria and I have pledged to each other that we will loose 100 pounds each in addition to staying sugar free for the year
3) Zen – We want to find ours. I have been reading some things online and found a blog that I really enjoy reading and have made a resolution to simplify our lives. We are not sure what this goal will entail just yet – stay tuned for more to come on this one.
4) Roku – Arguably the best and worst thing to enter out lives in a long time. Maria’s dad bought if for us and it has opened our eyes (we love the documentaries – check out Food Inc., School Inc., King Corn, on Netflix just to get a glimpse). It, however, has also consumed all of our extra time. Almost everyday for two weeks I have watched two full length programs a day! We are moving the TV into the basement.
5) Eating Out – We are greatly cutting back on eating out. I eat out about seven times a week. I am not going to eat out at work any more and limit the eating out as a family.
