My boss, as an effort to keep me motivated, has offered to pay a commission on top of my regular hourly rate on every site I sell (it is not a percentage based commission as to not tempt me to increase our customer's cost).
I have toyed around with the idea of advertising our Premium Web Design services on the back window of my car with the hopes to find more customers. Maria was sceptical to the idea (as expected) but I have nearly convinced her to go for it.
What do you think? Should I place an ad similar to either of the ones shown on the back window of my car? Do you think it would be an effective way of advertising these services? Any other suggestions?
PS It will be made out of vinyl and wont damage the car and can be removed if/when necessary, and the black area will be the tinted window itself.

I like the second one. It is easier to read. Why not just give it a try. What do you have to lose. And if you get some clients that way, you only have to gain. You can also place business cards in restaurants or grocery stores. Put them up on bulletins at school or something. Just a thought. Miss you guys and hope you are doing well.
bonus to putting ad on car...you get to write part of your car payment off on your taxes...business expense :)
I also like the second one. With driving by, you will be able to read it faster. Another thing you could try (it's kinda weird, but might be good) is I saw someone have a place on the back of their car that holds business cards so people can take them while the car is parked and you are away. It was interesting to me...I wonder if it works?
I also don't know if it's just for personal business, but I know when I did Arbonne when I was selling it, if I was making money and then put a sign on my car for the company then that was a tax write off. you should do it and look into that. Good luck with it!
